THE HERMANUS FYNARTS FESTIVAL

One of a kind, Hermanus FynArts is a fusion of Festival and Winter School; a blend of visual, intellectual and creative stimulation with a vibrant social buzz, taking place from the 8th to the 17th of June 2018.

It is 10 days filled with exciting events in intimate venues: cozy coffee shops, small art galleries, restaurants, wine cellars and tasting rooms.

This year, in addition to writing, painting, ceramics and drawing workshops, there are Master Classes in Classical Guitar with James Grace; Dance with Bovim Ballet; The Art of Leadership with Sunny Stout Rostrom; Silversmithing with Ralph Walton; Tutuored Wine Tastings; Food Demonstrations with Garth Stroebel; Land Art Walks with Simon Max Bannister …

This year there are more than 20 art exhibitions – sculpture, ceramics, painting, photography, quilting and glass – are complemented by music concerts and recitals, workshops and master-classes, tutored wine tastings, pairings and fine dining.
On top of this there is a wide range of talks, all richly illustrated.

Make use of the complimentary hop-on / hop-off bus and three hop-on / hop-off rickshaw bicycles will connect the central exhibitions. Wine Route Shuttles, at an affordable winter rate, will link exhibitions at participating wine farms along the Hermanus Wine Route.

Book your tickets at the Hermanus Tourism office or selected PNP Stores.
