Opening of the Arabella Community Centre
The Arabella community came together in great spirit on 29 November 2025 to celebrate the official opening of the new Arabella Community Centre, marking an exciting milestone for the Estate.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome and official opening address by Chairperson, Mr Anton van Wyk, who thanked Homeowners, the Board, management, contractors and all stakeholders for their dedication and commitment in bringing this long-awaited project to life. A special word of thanks went out to Charl Louw for his active involvement in driving this project from start to finish. His message reflected not only pride in the completed facility, but also optimism for the role the centre will play in strengthening community connections for years to come.
The celebration continued with live entertainment, creating a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere that encouraged residents to mingle and enjoy the occasion. Guests were treated to an abundance of delicious food and refreshing drinks, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy throughout the evening. Adding to the festive mood, the night was perfectly capped off by a Springbok victory over the Welsh which was enjoyed by everyone on the big screen.
A secondary opening event was held on the 9th of January 2026 for those Residents that were unable to make the first event. All the same niceties were again put out for the enjoyment of our Homeowners and the celebration of our 25th Anniversary was also incorporated into this event.
The new Community Centre stands as more than just a building – it is a shared space designed to bring residents together, host events, and foster the strong sense of community that defines Arabella. The opening evening was a true reflection of this spirit and set the tone for many memorable gatherings to come.
The Arabella HOA extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed towards making these two evenings such a resounding success.
