Here are some ideas on how to make the most out of Valentine’s Day during a global pandemic!

1. Do a cooking challenge
Instead of just cooking a meal for your loved one, why not add some excitement and have a fun cooking challenge between you and your Valentine. Each of you gets to prepare your own dishes and then be the judge of the other’s. Spice things up a bit more by assigning romantic prizes to the winner of each dish. This is a fun way to add laughter and some friendly competition to your Valentine’s Day dinner date.

2. Get active with your Valentine’s and go for a walk, hike or even bike ride together. Spend some quality time together outdoors in the fresh air and have fun!

3. Have a Valentine’s Games Night – perfect for just the two of you or get the whole family involved! What’s great about this idea is you can even do it virtually via Zoom or Facetime if you are not together!

4. Rekindle your romance by making a scrapbook of your relationship together either electronically or the old fashioned way. Include pics and memorabilia of places you have visited and activities you have done together.

5. Recreate your first date – at home! Try to bring the scene to life in your house and remember the first time you went out together as a couple!

6. Write each other love letters – the old fashioned way, not via email! Tell them why you love them and why they are so special to you!

7. Make a chocolate fondue! Whats more romantic than making your own chocolate covered strawberries at home with hot melted fondue?
