The bustling little hub of Kleinmond has become quite the favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. Located along the scenic Clarence Drive and falling within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, the coastal town offers the best of both worlds. With a long list of small businesses and restaurants as well as fynbos-clad landscapes and glorious white sandy beaches, Kleinmond makes for an ideal destination to base yourself, whether temporarily or permanently.

The biodiversity-rich nature reserve and the Palmiet River that snakes through it along with the sandy beaches that wrap around the coast makes the town and its surrounding area a hotspot for outdoor enthusiasts. Offering a variety of hiking, mountain biking, surfing, white water rafting, kayaking, bird watching, horse riding and more, this is one stop on the Whale Coast Route you have to make.
